Ernst Vogelsang GmbH was founded in Herscheid in 1949 and has since established itself as a reliable partner for customized stamped and bent parts, washers, as well as welding and assembly groups.
At the end of January 2024, Ernst Vogelsang GmbH filed for insolvency at the Iserlohn District Court. Prof. Dr. Peter Neu of ATN - d'Avoine Teubler Neu – Rechtsanwälte was appointed by the court as the provisional insolvency administrator.
Capital Value Management GmbH (“CVM”) was exclusively mandated by the management and the provisional insolvency administrator to carry out a structured M&A process. In a difficult market environment, characterized by declining call-off volumes and rising costs, the parties involved in the proceedings succeeded in selling the company as of October 1, 2024 as part of a transferring restructuring and securing jobs at the Herscheid site.

Ernst Vogelsang GmbH was sold to Hesener GmbH based in Finnentrop and will operate under the name Vogelsang Umformtechnik GmbH in the future. Hesener GmbH has been successful in the fields of punching, pressing and bending parts for many decades. With a pressing force of up to 125 tons so far, Hesener GmbH is now expanding its range of services to up to 250 tons by acquiring Ernst Vogelsang GmbH.
