Entire Sales Process
On August 8, 2019, Peacock Moden GmbH executive board filed for bankruptcy. Münster district court appointed Stefan Meyer (Münster) of the PLUTA Rechtsanwalts (Chancellery) GmbH as interim insolvency administrator. Stefan Meyer opened the insolvency proceedings on November 1, 2019.
Upon filing for insolvency, Peacock Moden GmbH employed 111 workers.
The Peacock Moden GmbH executive board and their interim insolvency administrator exclusively charged managing partner Jörg Schuppener and his CVM Capital Value Management GmbH team with executing a structured M&A process. The smooth cooperation with PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH enabled CVM to successfully position Peacock on the sales market. Both the insolvency administrator and board of creditors agreed to the sale.
